    Ryan has taught classes to high school students, college students, sixth graders, adult learners, and college professors.  His emphasis on experiential learning, problem solving and critical thinking ensures that students are successful.  Classes he has taught include:  Film/Videography, History (U.S., World, Latin America), Writing, Educational Theory, Apple Computers, Microsoft Office, Website Development.

    Ryan originally trained as a copywriter in Austin, Texas.  He began his career working for an advertising agency in Denver that specialized in homebuilders and retail shops.  During his tenure as the Marketing Director for the Wilkinson Public Library, he incorporated videography and event live-streaming into his work flow which helped increase patron attendance 60% over three years.  He is adept at writing press releases, designing websites that use modern content management systems such as Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla.

    Ryan has a natural ability to quickly learn new software.  He is proficient at Microsoft Office, Adobe CreativeSuite, Film-editing software, Web Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Operating Systems on the Mac and PC platform.  He has also taught many of the software packages to adult learners and traditional students throughout his career.

2013-2016:  History Instructor/Instructional Technology Specialist: Colorado Northwestern Community College, Rangely, CO

Duties: Taught 15 credits of history each year; Developed and Administered Faculty training for campus Learning Management System (LMS); Represented CNCC at the state level as the LMS Administrator; Created an ADA-compliant style guide and syllabus template for faculty use; Delivered training for student orientations; Created and implemented a student success database that tracked student grades, provided a faculty form for student referrals in need of an intervention, and analyzed data for future efficiency and usability in the process.
